Silversea Cruises

The intimate small ships of Silversea Cruises redefined the luxury cruise experience, delivering for the most discerning of travellers and setting a new standard for luxury cruising.

The Silversea fleet began with Silver Cloud - named after the famed Rolls-Royce - designed to the same exacting standards. Silversea now operates 12 ships on a range of worldwide itineraries, from the glamour of the French Riviera to some of the most remote locations on Earth, all whilst retaining their reputation for innovation, shown in an exceptional culinary programme and their adventurous expedition itineraries.

  • Our Insight

    Why choose Silversea Cruises?

Silversea's outstanding port-intensive itineraries from a classic fleet of small modern vessels cater to between 392 to 728 guests and travel well-honed worldwide itineraries, allowing you to return time and again, balancing the familiar style and welcome against the adventure of new destinations.

For the more adventurous, Silversea's expedition fleet of intimate adventure ships ranges from 100 to 274 guests enabling you to venture even further off the beaten track, discovering the polar regions, the Galapagos Islands, and beyond, with a team of experts who will make your exploration an exciting, informed and memorable experience.

    Exceptional Dining on Silversea Cruises

Silversea Cruises bring you everything you might expect from what we categorise as the Best of the Best. Relaxed open-seating dining enables you to eat when you like, and with whomever you choose, with a choice of restaurants and styles, from delicious Mediterranean dishes with bold fresh flavours to outstanding Asian delights with delicate sushi and sashimi.

The innovative Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) culinary programme offers a new dimension to the culinary offering. Debuted on sister ships Silver Moon and Silver Dawn, which launched in 2021 and 2022 respectively, and expanded on Silver Nova and Silver Ray, destination-focussed dining is incorporated in a range of venues to a varying degree, from regional favours to the local delights of the specific port you're visiting. Having proved so popular the concept is being rolled out to other Silversea ships, starting with the Silver Muse.

    Silversea Cruises' Outstanding Accommodation

Accommodation is spacious on a Silversea cruise, with all guest rooms enjoying expensive sea views and most having a private verandah. Each vessel has a range of options varying in size and location with some excellent high-level suite options - the Silver Suite is our favourite for its separate bedroom and living areas and midship position.

On the newest Nova Class ships the top suites are much like your own apartment, with expansive living, dining, sleeping, and dressing areas and large terrace-style balconies some with your own private hot tub.

Enriching Silversea Cruises in 2026, 2027 and 2028

With a fleet of eight classic ships and four expedition vessels, Silversea itineraries are truly global. The Mediterranean is considered home for what was originally an Italian-owned company and is extensively explored with year-round itineraries giving plenty of choice.

Northern Europe, North America, and the perennial favourite the Caribbean are visited as well as multiple destinations further afield including South America, Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands. The reach of Silversea's expedition fleet is further still, with the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Galapagos - where the 100-guest Silver Origin is permanently located - among the most popular destinations.
