Cruise ships in Venice: which ships are not banned from Venice?
Venice recently banned cruise ships over 25,000 GRT (gross tonnage), forcing them to use ports nearby. But which cruise ships... Read more
These award-winning and intimate vessels – with an average capacity of just 130 guests – are beautifully appointed in an English country house style, unsurprising given that Uniworld is a sister company to Red Carnation Hotels. They provide a truly luxurious European river cruise experience and offer a number of itineraries further afield, including India, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Egypt.

Our Insight
Each Uniworld river cruise ship is unique, designed to resemble a floating boutique hotel, with quirky artworks and furnishings crafted exclusively for Uniworld by some of Europe's finest artisans.
The style is relaxed on board, with a casually elegant atmosphere in the evenings. All dining is open seating, and the chefs source many of their ingredients from local farmers' markets as they travel up and down the great rivers of Europe, Asia and Africa. All of your drinks are included, including many premium spirits, along with WiFi, gratuities and shore excursions, making a Uniworld cruise great value for money.
The service on board is top notch, with personal touches that go above and beyond what you might ordinarily expect from a river cruise. This is especially true if you opt for one of the suites, which include butler service on most European voyages.
You can tailor your sightseeing to match your own level of fitness and activity, with a choice ranging from gentle walking tours to more active excursions. Bicycles and Nordic walking poles are also provided, and there are wellness specialists on board to help you unwind after a busy day with a massage or yoga class.
Itineraries cover all the great rivers of Europe, and there are also special themed cruises based around topics such as food and wine, royal history and Christmas markets. More exotic options include cruises on the Nile, the Mekong and the Yangtze, plus a fantastic itinerary in India combining the Golden Triangle with a Ganges river cruise.
