Immersive Overnights

Vatican City, Rome

Ultimately, a cruise is about discovering the world around you. For a true in-depth exploration of your destination, staying overnight in port leaves you with unlimited time ashore when the sun goes down. These sailings offer multiple overnight calls, allowing you to discover more and experience something new in some of the world's greatest destinations.

Our Insight

Immersive Overnights

For the discerning traveller, a sailing with multiple overnight calls allows you to get deeper into the heart of the destination in which you're sailing. From wine tasting in 16th-century Tuscan villas to private walking tours in famous cities when the sun goes down, knowing you don't have to sail away that evening adds an extra sense of relaxation to your holiday.

Regent's Immersive Overnights Collection offers just this; magical cruises that offer multiple overnight stays. A Rome to Southampton voyage in May 2026 will see you spend two days each in glitzy Monte Carlo, iconic Barcelona and Paris as well as La Coruña, the largest city in Galicia home to a UNESCO-listed Roman lighthouse and some great seafood restaurants, exploring with activities such as tours of Monaco and Nice and and dining in a romantic restaurant atop Barcelona's highest point.

Further north, the Baltics await on a lovely July 2026 voyage where you can enjoy overnights in Oslo, and Stockholm and Copenhagen, with excursions in the latter including a traditional Danish dinner in Nyhavn and evening cruises through the canals, with a similar departure on 29 August 2026 also mixing in Berlin.

Alternatively, sail from Lisbon to Southampton on 20 July 2026 for two nights each in Paris, Bordeaux, Bruges and Amsterdram from wine tasting in châteaux to Paris and Amsterdam evening city tours, or to avoid the summer crowds, departures next year on 18 September, 28 September and 24 October offer chances to explore the likes of Tuscany, Rome, Athens and beyond.

Oceania, too, offers wide ranging and port-intensive itineraries with lots of late evenings and overnights in port, with in-depth and fascinating voyages.
