Our Insight

Why Choose Orient Express Sailing Yachts?

Orient Express Corinthian set sail in May 2026 following much anticipation as to how the Orient Express hallmarks of providing exceptional travel experiences to discerning guests would translate to the water. We have been following the Orient Express Sailing Yachts journey closely so read our guide to everything you need to know. The vessel itself is unique and innovative, with a striking silhouette dominated by three rigid carbon fibre and glass sails.

Once on board, expect exquisite French craftsmanship and vintage-inspired interiors with a contemporary twist. The yacht features 54 stylish suites, all with sea views, an abundance of culinary offerings curated by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno, and a tranquil Guerlain spa.

Itineraries are predominantly shorter 2- to 4-night getaways, with some longer options, sailing in the Mediterranean in summer and Caribbean in winter.

Orient Express is the latest hotel brand to expand into cruising and it has been fascinating to see the innovations within the luxury small ship cruising space. A second yacht, Orient Express Olympian, is due to join the fleet in spring 2027.
