What we love
The airy contemporary style of the ships, with fresh Nordic décor, is most appealing. Add to that the huge choices in dining and other facilities, and veranda staterooms throughout, not to mention included shore excursions and an excellent spa, and you have a winner. In 2024 and 2025, Viking will add two new ships to the fleet, Viking Vela and Viking Vesta respectively, which are slightly larger, carrying 998 guests each.

Mamsen's Norwegian Deli
The place to come for light fare and traditional Norwegian snacks from morning to night, with treats including waffles and open-faced sandwiches.
The Wintergarden
A refined afternoon tea experience with finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and a selection of teas is offered in this serene space with wooden accents inspired by the 'Tree of Life' in Norse mythology.
Pool Grill
Enjoy lunch poolside in this relaxed venue offering casual fare such as salads and burgers.
Bars and lounges
With a variety of elegant public spaces featuring stylish décor inspired by Viking's Norwegian heritage, you are sure to find a perfect spot for socialising or taking in the views.
At the heart of the ship, enjoy a coffee or meet friends in the Living Room, or pop by atmospheric Torshavn for an evening cocktail and live music. For a tranquil space to take in the views, visit the light-filled Explorer's Lounge with its two-storey panoramic windows, and for enrichment such as lectures or movies, you can head to the Theater.

All-verandah accommodation means that whichever stateroom or suite you choose, you can enjoy a private outside space to take in the changing views.
Owner's Suite
A multi-room home away from home featuring 1,448 square feet of space and a walk-in wardrobe, dining room, living room and private library. Additional extras include priority suite access on embarkation day and a complimentary private shore excursion.
