Fine dining is an essential part of the Hebridean Island Cruises experience and on board Lord of the Highlands, despite its small size, you can expect exceptional cuisine using a variety of locally-sourced Scottish produce.

Caledonian Restaurant

There is one main restaurant on board with expansive views from the picture windows, where you will enjoy three meals a day from a bountiful breakfast and lunch, depending on the day's activities, to a banquet-style three-course evening meal. You can also expect a gala dinner on board each cruise with a champagne reception and a real sense of occasion to enjoy with new-found friends.

A relaxed and convivial atmosphere is what you can expect on board a Lord of the Highlands voyage. It's all about the destination but you will return each day to a real home from home.

The main lounge is the central hub of the ship with plenty of comfortable areas to sit and watch the world go by or chat with fellow guests, and don't miss the chance to sit out on deck with a drink and enjoy the changing views.

This is an experience like no other, designed to immerse you in Scotland's beauty ashore whilst enjoying a house party atmosphere on board.

You will be joined on board and during tours ashore by knowledgeable guides who will impart their expertise and regale you with fascinating stories, and in the evenings you will enjoy talks about the next day's activities and occasionally some local entertainment. Special themed departures operate throughout the year, with themes ranging from wildlife to gardens to food & drink and you will enjoy the expertise of special guest speakers or guides on these sailings.
