Setting sail from Nassau
Nassau, the lively Bahamian capital, is home to duty free shopping, a burgeoning restaurant scene and elegant, pink-hued Georgian architecture. There are some interesting museums where you can learn about the pirates and slave traders of yesteryear, and the surrounding coastline boasts some truly stunning beaches.

4 July
Bahamas: Bimini

The Bimini Islands are the closest part of the Bahamas to the US mainland, made up of two main islands and a number of smaller cays. The islands are known for their stunning beaches, big game fishing and history of rum-running during the Prohibition era. Ernest Hemingway was also a regular visitor.
5 July
Bahamas: Harbour Island

Harbour Island is renowned for its beautiful pink sand beaches and colonial architecture, which dates back to the arrival of Loyalist settlers following the American Revolutionary War. The only town on the island, Dunmore Town, is named after John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore, a Scottish peer and colonial governor of Virginia and the Bahamas.
6 July
Bahamas: Great Exuma Island

7 July
Bahamas: Cockburn Town (San Salvador Island)
8 July
Bahamas: Clarence Town (Long Island)

Long Island lives up to its name, 80 miles long but just 4 miles wide. The rugged east coast is exposed to the crashing waves of the Atlantic, while the sandy western shore is lapped by calmer turquoise waters. Highlights include stunning white sand beaches, historic churches and labyrinthine cave systems.

Crystal have repeatedly been voted the World’s Best and Serenity is arguably one of the finest ships at sea.
What we love
Crystal Serenity is Symphony's big sister and, like her, is not a new ship; but you wouldn't know it since she is subject to an ongoing refurbishment programme, which ensures that the environment is always perfect and the style contemporary. This is, in short, a ship constantly honed to perfection. But ultimately it's all about the unmatchable food and service.
