Setting sail from Stockholm

The buzzing city of Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. Visitors are captivated by the busy waterfront, the beautiful cobbled streets in the Gamla Stan, or Old Town, the museums, palaces, gardens and galleries, whilst a mere 20 minutes away, Stockholm's archipelago of 30,000 islands offers its own delights, not least some serene tranquillity. The city itself features trend-setting restaurants, a vibrant nightlife and a rich cultural heritage. Many interesting excursions from the city centre ensure that a prolonged stay will be both stimulating and varied.

Don't miss

Walk through Gamla Stan, the medieval city centre, a living pedestrian-friendly museum full of sights, attractions, restaurants, cafés, bars and places to shop.

Arriving in Venice

Venice is a city like no other, a marble maze of turquoise canals criss-crossed by beautiful bridges, overflowing with palaces, churches and charming little piazzas. No matter how many times you've seen it in photographs, that first glimpse of the Grand Canal will simply take your breath away; it hardly seems credible that such an eye-popping scene could exist outside of a Canaletto painting. Of course Venice is a city that draws big crowds, especially in summer, but don't let this put you off; even the busiest areas are never more than a few steps from a quiet courtyard or a secluded square.

Our tip

The long, long queues for St Marks might put you off, but just book online in advance for timed entrance and bypass the exhausted tourists.

How? Simply by offering our clients more expertise, more personal service, more unique ideas, more fascinating add-ons, more fabulous freebies and more peace of mind.

We're happy to do all of that over the phone. But if you prefer to chat face to face, why not visit us at our comfortable offices just off London's Regent Street - we'd be delighted to see you.
