Before you board

After an overnight hotel stay in Zurich you’ll board the Golden Eagle Danube Express and begin your scenic train journey through the Alps, stopping off in Vaduz, capital of tiny Liechtenstein, en route to Innsbruck. Then continue on through Italian South Tyrol, over the Brenner Pass, and into Slovenia, where you’ll visit beautiful Lake Bled, the riverside city of Ljubljana and spectacular Postojna Caves, where you’ll enjoy a private concert. Finally, stop off in the grand Habsburg port of Trieste before arriving in Venice, where you’ll embark S.S. La Venezia for your 7-night cruise.
