Cultural Treasures of The Danube
From the mountains of the Black Forest, the Danube makes its way through cliffs and surges down wild and romantic gorges to flow by mighty castles, palaces and monasteries, framed by the enchanting landscapes and Baroque splendour along its banks.
The Danube has inspired generations of poets, musicians and painters to create masterpieces, which can only be attributed to the tremendous variety of scenery, historic cities, magnificent architecture and cultural treasures that are found throughout its course.
Peter Deilmann have a wonderful Danube itinerary for 2008 which encompasses such beautiful cities as Vienna and Budapest and takes you to such gems as Melk and Dürnstein all of which are simply rest bites from the stunning scenery you will see whilst cruising from Germany’s Passau.
Mundy Cruising have hand selected this voyage and added our very own special twist by way of a pre-cruise stay and a Mundy Carte Blanche sightseeing tour in the charming Bavarian town of Passau. Of course all of your flights and transfers have also been arranged, leaving you to sit back and enjoy meandering you way through Europe’s beautiful and varied countryside.
This journey is aboard Peter Deilmann’s 5 star MV Casanova where you and your 95 fellow passengers will enjoy lavish dining, comfortable, well appointed cabins and beautifully decorated public areas. You will also be travelling with fellow Mundy Cruising passengers and sharing the wonders of Passau and the Danube with like minded people.
