No Choice in Value
There’s a lot of choice to be had in price paid as well. Cruise holidays can vary dramatically in terms of absolute cost, depending on where you are going, who you are travelling with and how long you are staying. But one thing is for sure they are all likely to represent extraordinarily good value when you compare what you are paying per diem on your holiday with the costs of a similar land-based holiday.
So when you are asking yourself whether the price asked for a cruise represents good value, do try a similar form of exercise; try and work out roughly how much an equivalent holiday on land would cost.
Imagine how much you spend every day on a land holiday, from the moment you get up to enjoy breakfast through to that last night-cap before retiring. How much might you have spent every day on accommodation, food, drinks, tips, travel, and extras?
And then imagine that on some cruises, every single one of these items is included in your fare! Try the maths – we think that you will find that you are getting an excellent deal on an excellent experience.
